After a short rest start sight-seeing tour around ancient Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam for almost 1000 years: visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda. Follow this with the Temple of Literature, site of Vietnam’s first university, dating back to the 11th century.

Back to your hotel – relax or take a walk and explore the surrounding shops and restaurants.

Morning, depart Hanoi for Ha Long City (Hanoi – Halong : 165km). On arrival embark the deluxe junk for a 2days/1 night cruising tour around the World natural heritage Halong bay. Explore Surprising cave and enjoy swimming at Titop beach. Enjoy sea food lunch and dinner on board.

Start the day with an early Tai-chi course on the junk’s terrace and enjoy the sunrise at Bai Tu Long Bay. Proceed to visit Bai Tu Long Bay and Luon lagoon. Buffet brunch is served on board. Back to the shore, transfer back to Hanoi, visit Dong Trieu ceramic village en route.

On arrival, take a casual walk around the heart of Hanoi; visit the Restored Swork Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and the famous Old Quarter. In the evening, enjoy Water Puppet show – an unique traditional art of Vietnam.
