Day 1 : Hanoi arrival

Arrival in Hanoi, meet at the airport then transfer to hotel (Airport-Hotel : 35 km).

Check-in time : 14h00.

The rest of the day is free, either relax at the hotel or explore the surrounding shops and restaurants.

Day 2 : Hanoi

Full day sight-seeing tour around Hanoi – the charming capital surrounded by lakes and tree shaded boulevards: visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Presidential Palace as well as Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. After that, proceed to visit the Vietnam Ethnology museum.

In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, site of Vietnam’s first university, dating back to the 11th century, take a walking tour around Hanoi’s Old Quarter, visit Dong Xuan market, Restored Sword Lake and Ngoc Son Temple.

Evening: enjoy Enjoy Water Puppet show – an unique traditional art of Vietnam.

Day 3 : Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi

Depart for Halong bay the morning. Upon arrival enjoy a 5 hour cruising at Ha Long Bay, having the chance to discover the breathtaking scenery of this World Heritage Site. Fresh seafood lunch will be served after visiting some of the limestone caves in the area.

Afternoon drive back Hanoi, visit Dong Trieu ceramic village en route.

Day 4 : Hanoi – Hue

In the morning: transfer to Noi Bai airport for flight to Hue. On arrival, transfer to hotel for check-in.

Afternoon visit Hue – the World Cultural Heritage, the former capital of Vietnam from 1802 – 1945 : visit Imperial City and the Forbidden Purple City, built in the 19th century by the Emperors of Nguyen Dynasty – last feudal dynasty in Vietnam, visit Dong Ba central market for a large selection of souvenirs.

Day 5 : Hue

Continue exploring the romantic city of Hue: take boat trip on the peaceful Perfume river to visit Thien Mu pagoda, tombs of King Minh Mang and Tu Duc.

Day 6 : Hue – Hoi An

In the morning, drive down the coast road and pass over the spectacular Sea cloud to reach Danang – the biggest port in central Vietnam. Upon arrival visit Cham Museum and stone carving village at the foothill of Marble mountains. Proceed to Hoian – the very charming ancient town quietly nestled by Thu Bon river, one of Vietnam’s most prosperous port town in 15th century. Check-in hotel and relax.

Day 7 : Hoian

In the morning: walking tour to explore Hoian: visit the Fujian congregation hall, Japanese covered bridge, ancient house, lantern factory and the local markets. Enjoy 01 hr cyclo tour around the town and back to your hotel.

The afternoon is at your leisure for shopping around or relaxing at Cua Dai beach.

Day 8 : Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh City

Transfer to airport for flight to Hochiminh city. Meet and transfer to the city centre and check in at the hotel. After a short rest, start sight-seeing tour around Hochiminh city – the biggest and most lively city of Vietnam: visit the Reunification Hall (the former President Palace), War remnant museum, Thien Hau pagoda, China town, Binh tay market and make photo stops along the way at Notre Dame cathedral and Central Post Office.

Day 9 : Ho Chi Minh city – Cu Chi – Tay Ninh – Ho Chi Minh city

Today you are going to the outskirt of Hochiminh city to visit Cuchi underground tunnel – the historical site during American-Vietnam war that once stretched over 210km. Proceed to Tayninh and join the unique Caodaism mass at Cao Dai Holy Land.

Drive back to Hochiminh city in the afternoon, stop over to visit brick kilns along the way.

Day 10 : Ho Chi Minh city – My Tho – Ho Chi Minh city

Head to My Tho to explore the mythical Mekong river delta – upon arrival visit Vinh Trang pagoda, then take a boat trip to islets full of bonsai & orchard garden, handicraft work shops and local house made of coconut trees, where you are hosted with honey bee tea, seasonal fruits and folk music.

Back to Hochiminh city by late afternoon. Check in hotel and relax.

Free at leisure till transfer to airport for departure flight.
